Welcome to Subly ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you manage within our application. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use the Subly mobile application for Android and iOS.
2. Information Collection and Storage
Subly does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.
Local Device Storage: All subscription names, billing amounts, categories, trial dates, and renewal intervals you enter are stored locally on your device using encrypted/secure local storage (Hive).
No Server Transfers: We do not transmit, upload, or sync your subscription database to any external servers or third-party cloud databases.
3. Device Permissions
To provide core subscription reminder capabilities, Subly requests specific permissions on your device:
Notifications & Exact Alarms (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Required to deliver local push notifications prior to subscription renewal dates. Notifications are scheduled and generated entirely on your local operating system without external servers.
4. Advertising & Analytics
Subly uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements inside the app to support ongoing development.
Google AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) and performance metrics to serve relevant, non-personalized or personalized ads in accordance with Google's Advertising Policies.
CSV Export: You can export your subscriptions at any time into a CSV file via the built-in export tool.
Data Deletion: You can edit, pause, or permanently delete any subscription entry inside the app. Uninstalling the app completely removes all locally stored app data from your device.
6. Children's Privacy
Subly does not knowingly collect any personal data from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, our service is safe for general audiences.
